Kate Gosselin is the mom on the show Jon and Kate plus 8. She and her husband started the show to help the America get to know their stuggles with raising eight children under the age of ten. Kate is known for her orgainze skills and parenting. Kate has written three books.
The family has stated that their marriage was in trouble before the season four finale of the show. Jon had stated that he did not want to be part of Jon and Kate plus 8 because he could not be himself.
